Vistakon, maker of Acuvue brand contact lenses, has released a new 1-day disposable contact lens call 1-Day Acuvue TruEye. This is the first 1-day disposable contact lens, made from a new silicone hydrogel material (Narafilcon A) to be released in the United States.

Silicone hydrogel lenses have been available for years in two week and one month disposable formats. These materials provide higher oxygen permeability and better wettability on the surface and have proven to be more comfortable in our dry, high altitude climate of Colorado. This lens is available in a wide range of prescriptions (+6.00D to -!2.00D) and samples are available for diagnostic fittings.

The optometrists at Chapel Hills Vision Clinic are excited to be able to offer this new product to our patients in Colorado Springs. Please call us at 719-599-5083 to schedule a diagnostic fitting with this much anticipated new contact lens.
